🧠 Tools That Help Kids Like Me Feel Seen

Hey, it’s me—Brandon.

I’m the Kid Founder of the Brave Brain Book Club, and I made this with my mom because... well, I used to feel invisible. Or worse—like I was always in trouble.

I’m neurodivergent, which means my brain works a little differently.
Sometimes I learn fast.
Sometimes I feel too much.
Sometimes I get so overwhelmed I just want to run.

And in school, that didn’t always go well.

đźš« I Got a Lot of Red Marks...

My teachers used behavior charts. If I had a good day, I got a green.
If I had a hard day—like if I ran out of class, yelled, or took something without asking—I got red.

But nobody asked why.

They didn’t know I had too many sounds in my head.
Or that I was nervous and didn’t have the words.
Or that I wasn’t trying to be mean—I just didn’t know what else to do.

💡 That’s Why We Made Brave Brain

Instead of just saying, “Stop doing that,” my mom helped me figure out what I could do.

We made books, songs, posters, and breathing tools that helped me calm down, understand my feelings, and learn from mistakes (instead of getting in trouble for them).

Now, we share those tools with other kids like me.

🧠 Our Tools Help You Feel Brave and Safe

If your brain feels like it works different too—these are for you:

  • Books that show real feelings (and what to do with them)

  • Songs that help your body move and relax

  • Calm-down kits that make you feel ready, not embarrassed

  • Posters that say things like “My Brain Is My Friend” (because it is)

💛 You’re Not Alone

If you’ve ever felt like:

“No one gets me.”
“I’m always the one in trouble.”
“Why can’t I just be good?”

I felt that too.

But guess what? Your brain is brave.
You don’t have to be perfect. You just need tools—and people who believe in you.

I believe in you. You can grow your Brave Brain.
Let’s do it together.
